Summary of Experience:

I specialize in institutional development and strengthening, governance and capacity building, HRD, strategic planning, evaluation, proposal writing, report editing, and learning systems. I have a PhD in Occupational Analysis and Curriculum Design, Masters Honours in Education, BLitt in Geography, BA in Geography, and elementary school demonstration teaching certification. I have been a Team Leader and Adviser forty years in the following countries: Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, China, Macedonia, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Palestine, Philippines, PNG, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tuvalu, USA, Vanuatu and Viet Nam. I have worked on assignments funded by the ILO, UNOPS, IFAD, UNDP, OECF, AusAID, World Bank, ADB, and DFID, in peace, conflict and post conflict situations. I have authored and co-authored numerous papers, a small business textbook, novel, and short story collection. In 1998, I received a World Bank Group Award for Excellence in the Thailand Land Titling Project for significant development impact through outstanding client responsiveness, professionalism, partnership, teamwork, innovation and cost effectiveness. I speak Bahasa Indonesia and PNG Pidgin.
