[As part of the responsibilities as Secretary for Health was overall manager for the ADB funded Rural Health Improvement Project. Also overall coordinator for WHO, USAID, JICA and other donor  projects.

Responsible to the Government of PNG for the overall administration, policy, planning and monitoring of health services in the country. Introduced Basic Minimal Needs Approach to development  programs in the country. Chairman of the National Health Planning Committee which developed two five year National Health Plans. The national reporting system was also reviewed, revised and computerized. Country Representative at World Health Assembly, Regional WHO meetings - Fiji, Beiging, Manila, South Pacific Commission Directors of Health Meetings, ESCAP. Assisted in the formulation of the Quality of Life Social Sector Committee and subsequently member of the Committee. Organised and produced the TV health promotional program 'Tingim Helt'. Supervised and promoted the development of health educational activities in the department and encouraged the use of radio and newspapers and video for health promotional activities. Started the HIV/ AIDS educational program and developed a specific video and other materials. Reviewed health promotional material in the Department and developed health and ethical behavior promotional booklets. Member of the Council of the Papua New Guinea Institute for Medical Research.]   

1984        Master of Public Health - Sydney University - conversion of Diploma by thesis on the Decentralisation of the Papua New Guinea Health Services.
