Vicki Roberts has 20 years
experience in vocational education focusing on the establishment and
compliance of training and assessment systems. This expert commenced
teaching and developing training materials in 1990. This experience is
backed by formal and informal education to Masters level. Currently
Vicki Roberts is undertaking a PhD in Education focusing on vocational
education. For a number of years Vicki has operated her own training
and technical writing consultancy, United Business Services (Aust) Pty
Ltd (UBS), which has performed services for governments, corporate
bodies, schools and colleges. In recognition of her experience, this
expert was invited to speak at the 2007 International Vocational
Education Training Association (IVETA) All African Conference in
Mauritius on designing curriculum to meet local needs. Vicki’s key
message in the development of programs to meet local needs was the
importance of working with and developing relationships with local
employers and employees.
